The more Fun City Project

We are developing an application that curates large scaled, crowd sourced event information. By using More Fun City, you can discover amazing events in Vancouver every day. Through our research, we've found 670 venues and dozens of daily events. There's something for everyone!

Fans, Patrons, Supporters

You can expect to be kept up to date with current events in Vancouver and the lower mainland. Use More Fun City as an aide in planning a big night out with cost summaries, directions, and rich arts portfolios, as well as the opportunity to define your city through review and photography content.

Performing and Exhibiting Artists

You control the narrative. By compiling your project's media inone place, you give the public a look in to your inner workings and a convincing reason to come to your event. Media we feature in your space can include music, audio, podcasts, photography, articles, interviews, or videos.

BOOKIng agents and CURATORS

More Fun City gives you a built in and intuitive system for event markings. We use text analytics and attendance patterns to  send relevant events directly to your fans. We help shape an audience that will enjoy your content - in your area, at your price and with your performers.

Media

More Fun City references your articles, writers and photographers again and again. As an artist's profile forms, their reference material becomes more relevant and popular. More Fun City references this to deliver relevant content about performing and exhibiting arts to our audience.

Mathieu Pierre Youdan

CO FOUNDER, RESEARCH

Mathieu Pierre Youdan is the former editor of BeatRoute magazine, and occasional production assistant, copy writer, journalist, and a member of the Yelp reviewing elite. Youdan has attended hundreds of local performances at dozens of Vancouver's venues.

Favourite Show: The B-Lines' performance at Music Waste 2013. Lead singer Ryan Dyck smashed a half dozen pint glasses on stage and rolled around in the shards before pouncing the audience. The ridiculous self-harm was shocking, but a perfect accompaniment to their frenetic pop-punk.

CO FOUNDER, PROGRAMMING

David Griffith is a technology veteran with a notable resume including the yearly Vancouver Jazz Festival application and the chat functions in Plenty of Fish. Primarily working with dozens of local start ups, Griffith is currently involved in the building of More Fun City and Accu-Rate.

Favourite Venue: Guilt & Company is an intimate venue space and one of my favourite stages to catch local performers. It also happens to be in my favourite neighbourhood in Vancouver.
